Justin Bieber was having a great time at last night's Billboard Music Awards. Not only did the singer participate in two awesome performances, he also won three awards and managed to steal a backstage kiss from Selena Gomez!
But when Justin took the stage to accept the Milestone Award, his final win of the night, he was booed by the crowd!
The singer paused before giving his acceptance speech, eventually saying, "I'm 19 years old. I think I'm doing a pretty good job."
"Basically from my heart I really just want to say it really should be about the music," he continued. "It should be about the craft that I'm making. This is not a gimmick, and I'm an artist, and I should be taken seriously."
Poor Justin. The singer has been through so much lately and has had to deal with tons of negative press. We hope things start looking up for him soon!
This was the first year the fan voted Milestone Award was presented at the Billboard Music Awards. Justin also took home Top Social Artist and Top Male Artist.
