It appears that Selena Gomez's backstage kiss with Justin Bieber at the Billboard Music Awards meant a little more than some fans believed. According to a close friend of Selena's, Jelena is officially back together!
"Justin and Selena are dating but they are taking things slow," the source tells Hollywood Life. "Coming back together now, the couple has years of experience and they're treating the relationship more maturely this time around. They now know what the stakes are."
While Selena is giving Justin another chance, she's staying way more guarded this time around. According to the source, the couple are only in a "trial period."
We're not sure how long Selena needs to date Justin before she feels comfortable enough to go public with the news, but we're hoping it's soon!
"Selena is keeping her heart from being broken, so she is definitely looking at this as a trial period in their relationship," the source says. "She's definitely taking [baby] steps back."
