Beautiful Creatures, the first book from the hit Caster Chronicles series is finally making its way to the big screen!
The just-announced cast of the Beautiful Creatures includes all-stars like The Help's Viola Davis as Amma and Nanny McPhee's Emma Thompson as Mrs. Lincoln/Sarafine and a pair of fresh faces -- Jack O'Connell and Alice Englert -- in the main roles of Ethan and Lena.
Jack previously played James Cook on the UK version of Skins, and Alice has several indie flicks due out this year.
The film tells the story of a regular teen guy named Ethan whose world is turned upside down when he meets the quirky and mysterious new girl in school, Lena -- and gets even more complicated as get caught up in a curse that's haunted Lena's family for generations. Beautiful Creatures is expected to hit theaters in 2013.
