Here are five things you need to know about Let It Happen whose new EP, It Hurts, But It's Worth It, is out now!
1. Ohio based pop-rock group Let It Happen consists of vocalist Drew Brown, drummer Sean Highley, guitarist Michael Vogel, and bassist Nathan Joiner. Friends since high school, the four drifted in and out of projects before coming together as Let It Happen in 2009.
2. They have one of their own musical inspirations, Jimmy Eat World, to thank for inspiring their band name. "After writing some material and practicing a bit we began our back porch ritual of listening to some music and chatting and the next thing we knew we were listening to Jimmy Eat World," Lead singer Drew Brown tells J-14. "We were discussing band names and did not want to settle for just any name, and the song 'Let It Happen' came on. It was pretty unanimous as we read the name out loud that it was perfect."
