J-14 is scouting out the hottest bands around... and this week's pick is Love Via Dance Machine!

Here are five things you need to know about Love Via Dance Machine, whose single "Crazy Over Me" is out soon!

1. Boston's dance-pop-rockers Love Via Dance Machine consists of lead vocalist Wiley Esten, drummer Jimmy Coberly, guitarist Alex Badanes, and bassist Izaiah Yelle whom all met at Berkley College of Music in 2009. "We were the only kids who wore skinny jeans and band tee shirts so we knew we would be friends," Jimmy tells J-14. "We've always been playing music our whole lives and we've all been in different bands and just coming from different backgrounds we were just able to make a really cool creative force," Izaiah says.

2. Their band name originated from one of the very first songs that they wrote together. "The first song we wrote was kind of a dance tune and one of the lyrics was 'we're making love via dance'. And we thought that was really cool and we added the machine to it and that day we were all like this is the dumbest name ever," Izaiah tells J-14. "I feel like the name fits us pretty well, it's pretty out there and pretty different, not a very typical name," Wiley adds.

3. All the guys have a various taste in music ranging from Blink-182, The Beatles, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, and even country music such as Carrie Underwood and Hunter Hayes. Some artists they'd love to work with? "I would like to write with Taylor Swift I think she's a pretty awesome writer and I like her songs a lot," Alex says. "I think it would be really cool to do a song with Skrillex, we have kind of like an electronic kind of sound to our music so it's cool to tie that in have it be a little more pop-y, because we like to have a little fun with what we're doing," Izaiah tells J-14.
