Justin Bieber's grandparents, Bruce and Diane Dale, were involved in a car accident on Tuesday, December 27, near their hometown of Stratford, Ontario, Canada, where Justin grew up.
The SUV that they were driving on a back road in the Township of Perth East hit an icy spot and the car fell into a ditch. "The vehicle rolled in a ditch and hit some shrubbery and small trees. The vehicle ended up back on its wheels but it made a complete roll," a police media officer said. "The vehicle was completely demolished, and the two occupants were okay."

Justin's grandpa was taken to Stratford General Hospital where he was treated for four broken ribs and released the same day. His grandma was unhurt.
Justin's mom Pattie Mallette announced the news on Twitter: "My parents got into a car accident today. They flipped into a ditch & totaled the car but thank God they are alive! My dad has broken ribs. Plz pray 4 him 4 quick healing! Count your blessings & forgive ur parents always. U never know what tomorrow holds!!!"
