Ed-Sheeran-Performance-New-York-City.jpgLast night, J-14 spent the evening at Ed Sheeran's first-ever headlining concert in New York City! Ed played the famous NYC concert hall, The Bowery Ballroom, and performed all of his hits for almost two full hours!

And not only did Ed rock every single one of his tracks, he also took the time to tell personal stories between each song. For example, he revealed that his song "Kiss Me" was written in honor of his godparents, who got married earlier this year. (And that he performed it at their wedding as a special gift!)

Even for Ed's more up-tempo tracks like "You Need Me, I Don't Need You," he performed every single part of the song himself, setting up a loop on stage so that he didn't require any back-up singers or musicians. And although he asked fans to be quiet during some of his more emotional tracks, that didn't stop fans from screaming, "You're so hot!" during his performances. In fact, even Ed couldn't help but crack up when someone yelled at him during "Wayfaring Stranger!"

Ed's debut album "+" is available in stores and online now -- and we're already listening to it on repeat in the J-14 office! Click "Read More" for a bonus photo from Ed's performance -- and be sure to check out an exclusive video below of Ed performing "Give Me Love" at the Bowery Ballroom in New York:
