The 1D World pop-up store in NYC opened their doors early on Saturday, November 17 for our lucky J-14 contest winner Kaitlyn and 10 of her best friends! They were the first ones to see the store, shop for $100 worth 1D merchandise each (!) and sign the fan wall. They had so much fun exploring the store and posing with all the 1D merchandise -- there were even life size cardboard cutouts of the guys! Other awesome merch included press-on nails with 1D's logo, board games, onesies and, of course, their new album Take Me Home (available in stores and online now).

One Direction's Hilarious Twitter Fight With Piers Morgan
One Direction sure knows how to bring on the Twitter LOLs! After David Beckham announced that he'll be playing his final game for the Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS Cup next month, British journalist and television host Piers Morgan voiced his opinions about the soccer star's decision on Twitter this morning. "No serious top flight team would sign Beckham for football reasons any more -- he should retire gracefully," Piers Tweeted.
But little did Piers know, he'd insulted some One Direction soccer super-fans with his snippy comment! One Direction band members Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne quickly fired back at Piers and as the conversation heated up, the dialogue became even more hilarious with Piers suggesting that the boys should sign Beckham to their group because "he sings better than he plays now."
'
Harry, Louis, and Liam kept the Twitter interaction going, even dragging in former 'X Factor UK' mentor Simon Cowell to help them win the Twitter war. "Hiiii @SimonCowell can you tell @piersmorgan to leave us alone please? He's being nasty..." Harry Tweeted.
And 1D fans were quick to defend their favorite boy band as they, too, hurled comments at Piers via Twitter, hashtagging #PiersMorganIsSmelly which the 1D boys started. (Thankfully Piers took his LOL-worthy trending topic with a smile!)
In a last ditch effort to save himself, Piers tried to embarrass Harry and the guys by posting a link to an article featuring photos of 1D during their school days. "Oops," Piers Tweeted along with the link. "Oops," Liam fired back, with a photo of One Direction meeting the Queen of England!
Haven't you learned not to mess with One Direction, Piers? They'll always win!
Would you back up the 1D boys? How do you feel about Piers' comments?

Report: Liam Payne and Leona Lewis Spend Time Together in London
The guys of One Direction sure are busy when it comes to love! As if we weren't already confused by Liam Payne's and 'X Factor UK' winner Leona Lewis' maybe-maybe not dating rumors, new reports are now giving us even more to consider!
After helping out and performing on the BBC Children in Need telethon on November 16, sources reveal that the two were rumored to spend some alone time together after the performance backstage.
Leona also recently spoke out about the eight-year age difference between her and the 1D pop star. "If you have a bond with someone it [age] doesn't come into it. I'd date someone younger or older, age doesn't matter to me. Or looks, really -- it's all about maturity," she says. But when asked to comment on her rumored relationship with Liam specifically, she refused to give any scoop. "I'm having fun and enjoying myself," she says.
What do you think? Do Leona and Liam make a good couple? Do you think they're dating?
J-14 Tune In Alert: 'iCarly' Series Finale
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and this Thanksgiving weekend we say goodbye to our favorite 'iCarly' characters who we've followed from the very beginning and throughout all five seasons. The unforgettable hour-long season finale airs this Friday, November 23 at 8 p.m. on Nickelodeon.
In "iGoodbye" Spencer offers to take Carly to the Air Force father-daughter dance while their father is still overseas. When Spencer gets sick, Freddie and Gibby swoop in and offer to take her instead. But to everyone's surprise, Colonel Shay shows up just in time to go to the dance with her. Carly and her dad have a fabulous time, but she's disappointed again when she finds out that he has to leave that night -- and she is left with a big decision to make.
We're not the only ones broken up about the end of the show either. "There were just so many fun elements to that show that to know that it's over makes me really sad," Jennette tells J-14. "I can't make direct eye contact when I'm talking about it because I'll just start crying!"
Are you upset about the end of iCarly? What will you miss most?
J-14 Video: Watch Harry Styles Go Bungee Jumping in L.A.
We always knew that the guys of One Direction were daredevils, but 1D's Harry Styles really showed his adventurous side with this video of himself and One Direction's sound engineer David bungee jumping in Los Angeles!
"Not for the faint hearted... Me and @Harry_Styles at Magic Mountain in LA earlier in the year. Enjoy :-)," David Tweeted.
In the video, Harry looks calm, cool, and collected as the rig pulls them up to their start position (170 feet up!) -- and has a huge grin on his face once the bungee cord drops and he flies through the air!

J-14 Editor Blog: Our Favorite Moments From One Direction's NYC Hasbro Dolls Event
The J-14 editors spent their first day back after Thanksgiving break in the best way possible -- hanging with One Direction! Between playing Truth or Dare, chatting about their new Hasbro singing dolls, and chilling in their Times Square hotel in New York City, we had so many awesome moments with the guys on Monday, November 26! Here are a few of our favorites:
"My favorite moment was watching the boys interact with each other. They're always feeding from one another's energy whether they're singing or chasing each other around the room. I also loved watching Liam singing a quote from my favorite holiday movie, 'Elf,' 'I'm in a store and I'm singing!' while we photographed the boys." --J-14 Photo Assistant Nicole Mazza
"I loved when Liam, Louis, and Zayn switched clothes and shoes! I even noticed that Louis was wearing socks!" --J-14 Photo Director Danielle Kepler
"My favorite part of the day was getting to sit down and chat with Niall one-on-one -- literally! He hopped off his chair right away and insisted that I sit down while we talked -- what a gentleman!" --J-14 Assistant Editor Laura Knipping
"When One Direction was ready to pose for their J-14 group picture, Niall was off to the side eating a peach yogurt. Everyone was telling him to hurry, but I said, 'He's a growing boy, he needs to eat!' He smiled, lifted up his shirt, and rubbed his bare belly. What a Niall moment -- too cute!" --J-14 Editor-in-Chief Rachel Chang
"Before interviewing Harry, he came over and gave me one of his famous hugs. It was so heartfelt, in fact, that his arm kind of pushed into my throat and I could barely sputter a 'Hi!' Talk about getting choked up!" --J-14 Deputy Editor Ashley Spencer

One Direction Reveals Dream Collaboration with Jay-Z
We all love musical collaborations, especially when they could potentially involve One Direction. The boys recently admitted to MTV that if they could choose anyone to collaborate with, they'd love to work with rapper Jay-Z on a hip-hop track.
And just because One Direction is famous, doesn't mean they don't still get star struck around their idols! "I don't know how to talk to him," Liam Payne reveals. "I think he's wicked. I love Jay-Z. It upsets me that we're not cool enough, but I wish we could."
Harry Styles remains optimistic though. ''It would be amazing to work with him, obviously," Harry says. "He's a very talented guy, and every time we go down to the studio with him, he's a great person to work with. We like working with him a lot, so who knows. We'll see what happens.''
Only time will reveal the fate of this dream collaboration, but hey, anything's possible!
What do you think a 1D/Jay-Z collaboration would sound like?
Justin Bieber Receives Award From Canadian Prime Minister
As if Justin Bieber wasn't busy enough, the teen idol made an extra stop in Canada while on his Believe tour where he was presented an award from Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Justin was honored with the Diamond Jubilee Medal to celebrate his tremendous career success so far.
Although Justin is usually known for his flawless style, he received international backlash when he showed up to receive the award in overalls. To clear up any confusion, the Biebs took to Instagram to defend his outfit choices. "The pic of me and the Prime Minister was taken in a room in the arena where I was performing at that day," Justin says. "I walked straight from my meet and greet to him."
Prime Minister Stephen Harper didn't seem to have a problem with Justin's outfit either! "In fairness to Justin Bieber, I told him I would be in my overalls too," he Tweeted.
What do you think of Justin's outfit choice?
J-14 Exclusive: Actress Yara Shahidi Talks 'First Family' and 'Butter'
We recently got the opportunity to chat with 12-year-old Yara Shahidi who's starring in the film Butter, alongside Jennifer Garner and Ashley Greene, and on the TV series First Family, in which she and her younger brother, Sayeed, explore living in the White House with their presidential family! She's also good friends with 'Twilight's' Mackenzie Foy and comes from a star-studded family! (You'll never believe who her cousin is -- rapper Nas!)
J-14: Were you a fan of 'The Twilight Saga' before you worked with Ashley Greene?
Yara: Yes. I read the 'Twilight' book, and my friend Mackenzie was in the last movie. In Butter, I think Ashley and I were in one scene together in the cooler for the butter. But everyone was really cool to work with on set. We've had so much fun.
J-14: How did you and Mackenzie meet? Yara: I've known her since I was little. We would both do print ads for companies, so we did a ton of different ads together. We've been friends ever since because we'd see each other so often. We'd even lose teeth at the same time, so we'd be in ads, and you'd notice that we both had the same tooth missing.
J-14: That's so cute! Tell us a little bit about the new TV show.
Yara: First Family on the CW is about the President and his family living in the White House. I'm the first daughter, Chloe Johnson, and my brother's in it, Sayeed, and he plays the second oldest son. And the show's about all of the trouble we get into at the White House, whether we're trying to sell products to kids or brushing our teeth with chocolate.

J-14 Exclusive: 'Married to Jonas'' Mikey Deleasa Talks Music and His Famous Family
You may recognize Mikey Deleasa and his famous family from Married to Jonas, but fans of the show might not realize that he too has a passion for music. Mikey recently came by the J-14 offices and dished about his new music, the show, and what it's really like to be related to the Jonas Brothers!
J-14: Tell us about how you got started making music!
Mikey Deleasa: I started a band in middle school and from that point on I never stopped. I kept playing through high school and college. I was working on a solo record and some one out in L.A. heard it and the next thing you know I'm flying out there for two months to work on music. I built some good friendships and working relationships and the next thing I knew I was living out in LA for two and a half years working on music.
J-14: Who are some artists you've taken inspiration from?
Mikey Deleasa: I like a lot of funk and soul stuff. I'm a very big fan of Jamiroquai. I also think Jason Mraz is a talented artist, so I'm a big fan of him and there's a new guy out named Allen Stone who I think is absolutely phenomenal. Those are some people I admire but even growing up listening to a lot of doo-wop stuff like Smokey Robinson thanks to my father and Dean Martin thanks to my mom, I would say I'm inspired by pretty diverse styles of music.
J-14: Your sister Danielle has married into quite a famous family! What's your relationship like with the Jonas Brothers?
Mikey Deleasa: Kevin's definitely been great with any questions that come up about the music business because obviously he gone through so much as well as his brothers. It's good to have another professional opinion, another brain to pick. And Joe and I formed a very close friendship and just became best friends.
